"He was so personable, and asked about us and our story. There were a lot of changes with dates and timing due to a permit issue for the venue, he was so accommodating about it. On top of that, he came in early to the photoshoot and also lent his hand with decorations and never made us feel rushed."

Helpful Proposal blogs
Stefan went out of his way to personalize our experience... He was not only attentive and responsive from the moment I reached out, but he was truly interested in making the moment as special as possible. The photographs themselves are outstanding. Stefan is a true creative and talent. Cannot recommend him enough.

Where should I propose?
Check out my resource on this very subject here: https://www.stefanaphoto.com/blog/best-engagement-photo-location-in-dc/
Do you do videography?
I include a brief snippets of each proposal taken on my phone from my camera's perspective, which I sent direct to you same-day!
What if I want roses, champagne, and a "Marry Me" sign?
I am happy to refer you to a few local vendors who specialize in customizing proposal planning packages with me as your photographer! We're talking light up signs, roses, champagne, custom champagne glasses, & more!
Can I extend the session on the day of?
It's possible, yes. The only time I wouldn't be able to extend is if I have back-to-back shoots.I will communicate with you ahead of time if extensions are not possible. If I do have conflicting schedules, I'll still do my best to accommodate in the case of any unexpected delays. If you book an event in the evening it's unlikely I'll have any qualms about extending my stay, I'm a bit of a night owl anyways. As far as the rate is concerned it will be determined based off a pro-rated hourly rate equal to the hourly rate of the session booked, rounded to the nearest 15-minute increment.
What does your editing process entail?
I use Lightroom & Photoshop to edit my photos to color balance, correct exposure, adjust textures, remove blemishes, fix stray hairs, and crop. These are all included in my initial proposed rate in each client’s contract.
How do we receive our photos?
You will receive your photos via a digital gallery link through Pixieset. The link is shareable and allows downloads to your computer, phones, or other devices.
Digital galleries are hosted on a server which means they'll be up for a short time of about a few months before I rotate new projects in. I encourage you to download them as soon as you get them, but don't worry if you forget. I'll keep back ups in "the cloud" just in case.
What kind of gear do you use?
For proposals I use a long lens 70-200mm for the proposal moment itself so as to be as discreet as possible. This allows for the most space and privacy during the moment itself.
I'll usually carry a wider lens for the portraits that come afterwards.
"He not only got back to me promptly but also gave great feedback on the proposal including where to stand, what to do to signal him, etc. Great communication from start to finish! My fiancee and I are very pleased with the final product, and Stefan helped make this night one we will never forget. Excellent rates as well. A+!"
