Ahoy! I'm Stefan Agregado
My photography journey began when I was 16 and I got my first camera. I began with the intent to create my own image board of people I cared for and the special places I've been. 20 years later, I now have the incredible honor of helping others create their own little sanctuaries that foster their identities.
As a photography & photojournalism major at Cal State Long Beach, I learned every important technical skill a photographer needs to know. As a photojournalist ('10-12) I learned how to be flexible, creative, and to think on the fly so as never to miss a moment. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco ('13-15') I learned to find the human connection in people from all walks of life. I founded Stefan A. Photography in 2016 with the goal of capturing people on the happiest days of their lives. I moved to DC in late 2019 and am proud to call myself a Washingtonian.
When I'm not photographing life's special moments, you'll likely find me at a local cafe, music venue, gym, or salsa class. If I'm not out and about, I'm probably home practicing French / Spanish, playing my guitar, or practicing piano.
