Old Towne Alexandria is perfect for a photoshoot
Wondering where to have a photoshoot in Old Towne Alexandria? Well, you are in luck! Because Old Towne Alexandria has many picturesque locations for your photoshoot - whether you are getting photos for engagement, graduation, or family portrait. You have many options for backdrops - including the waterfront, cobblestones, adorable historic houses, alleyways, tunnel, and my personal favorite, under the bridge.
Wilkes Street Tunnel
This brick-lined pedestrian tunnel is a favorite for engagement session since it has a secluded and intimate atmosphere. I love photographing the silhouette shot from inside the tunnel.
Jones Point Bridge

This is a great place for you to tell your clients more about your story and to describe the type of photographer you are. You can come back at any time to make more changes.
Prince St. is a popular cobblestone street filled with history and charm, perfect for a photoshoot. There are other streets nearby with a similar aesthetic. Walk down the cobblestone and get transported back in time - just don't trip and fall!
For a more intimate location away from the crowd, a cobblestone alleyway is a great place to have laugh and share cozy moments with your loved ones at the photoshoot.
The yellow wall at Big Wheel Bikes
For a pop of bright color to make you stand out in the photographs and add a layer of fun - come to the yellow wall at Big Wheel Bikes. Yellow is the color of happiness - so I expect to capture some smiles when we are there.
Market Square Fountain
We will surely be walking a lot during the photoshoot - so a good place to take a break and still get some photos is at the Market Square Fountain. Grab a seat (and some ice cream from across the street!) by the fountain and get some photos taken at this historic square with Alexandria City Hall in the background.
Choose from many interesting backdrops by the waterfront in Old Towne Alexandria - such as with the expansive Potomac River behind you, or next to the iconic Victorian Steamboat, The Cherry Blossom.
