A love in bloom
Alan and Aydan exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony at the Moultrie Courthouse in Washington, DC, on March 19th, 2024, surrounded by a select group of cherished family members and with a county officiant presiding over their union. The intimate ceremony was just a prelude to the awe-inspiring cherry blossoms that awaited them just across the National Mall.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds embraced the serenity of the Tidal Basin, where they wandered amidst the majestic Jefferson Memorial Monument. As they meandered along the tranquil waters, framed by the delicate pink blooms of the cherry blossoms in full bloom, Alan and Aydan found solace and joy in each other's company, savoring the quiet moments of reflection and anticipation for the future that lay ahead.
Under the enchanting canopy of blossoms many well-wishers greeted them to say "congratulations" and compliment their wedding garb.
Returning to their cozy Airbnb retreat, Alan and Aydan were joined by their beloved canine companion, whose wagging tail and eager presence added an extra layer of warmth and joy to the occasion. On the patio they shared slices of wedding cake and raised their glasses in a toast to the boundless possibilities of their shared journey, brimming with love, laughter, and endless adventures yet to come.
