Love Under Construction

Annie & Maggie got married in their kitchen on Feb 29, 2024. It was the same place Annie had had proposed just 3 weeks earlier when handing Maggie a shopping list for their home renovations. It read:

... 3) Look at baseboards in basement, trim 4) Proposal 5) Drop off medicine cabinet, etc...

I am honored and delighted to one of two parties invited, the 2nd being their good friend, a local judge who was there to officiate their union. The vibes and weather were immaculate as we took a celebratory round of photos amidst their home, still under renovation. This was of course a metaphor for their relationship, always under construction, always developing, always improving. Afterwards, we walked around the Capitol Hill neighborhood for elopement portraits around Lincoln Park & The Supreme Court.
